My recent obsession, French toast
How does French toast manage to be so awesome? Seriously. I just don't understand. Bread, pretty good. Eggs, good. French toast, amazing. The goodness function for eggs and bread is definitely non-linear, reaching it's maximum at an overly soaked eggy bread.

And what's good with bread? Peanut butter and bananas. So what about a peanut butter and banana French toast sandwich? Let's just hope these third and fourth variables don't ruin the magic; experiment to be run tomorrow.

The experiment failed. The time to put the bananas and peanut butter on the French toast gave the toast too much time to cool down, countering the peanut butter and banana goodness.

Next attempt, pre-slice the bananas and clean the stuff up after I eat, this way the French toast will hopefully still be hot.

They had challah french toast in 5BB on Friday. I can't vouch for the peanut butter and banana though.

Alternative idea: take 2 slices of bread. Add peanut butter + bananas to make a sandwich. Dip sandwich in egg mixture. Cook like french toast.

I don't know how well peanut butter and banana will really cook in a frying pan.

The peanut butter will get all melty and good, and the bananas will still be yummy.
